Baked Cinnamon Breakfast Bites

I found these on Pinterest via Oh My! Sugar High and had to give them a try since we all love donut holes.
They are so good and very easy to make.
The kids loved rolling them in the cinnamon and sugar.

1 1/3 cups flour
1 cup crisp rice cereal, crushed
2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup sugar, divided
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter-flavored shortening
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted

In a large bowl mix the flour, cereal, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
Stir in the milk just until moistened.
Shape into 1-inch balls.

In a small bowl combine the cinnamon and remaining sugar.
Dip balls in melted butter and then roll into the cinnamon and sugar.

Bake in single layer on cookie sheet at 425 F for 15-18 minutes.

Enjoy!

Chicken and Cheese Lasagna Roll-Ups

Found this recipe on Pinterest and had to give it a try.  Instead of the feta and parmesan cheese in the original recipe I just used mozzarella since that is what I had in the house, but I think it still turned out good.  Next time I'll try it with some spinach and maybe some other veggies.

3 cups cooked chopped chicken
1 cup Ricotta cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella (or about that, I didn't measure it)
1/4 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
10 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained (original calls for 8 but I had 10 left so used them all)
2 cups Spaghetti sauce

*Put about 1 cup of sauce in bottom of 13x9 inch baking dish
*Combine chicken, cheeses, milk and pepper in bowl
*Put about 2 spoonfuls of mixture onto each noodle
*Roll noodles long way
*Place rolled lasagna noodles into dish on top of sauce
*Top with remaining spaghetti sauce
*Sprinkle some cheese on top if you would like
*Cover
*Bake at 375 degrees F for about 30 minutes

Enjoy!

Felt Heart Love Shirt

I had a shirt from Love that was to small so I decided to make a Valentine's shirt for Bug.

Bug didn't want her picture taken, which is unlike her, so I got her on the run.

I had drew both the heart and ribbon then cut them out and pinned them together.

I then stiched around the ribbon and stitched LOVE onto it.

Then pin it to the shirt and stitch around the heart.

Next on my list is making a Lightning McQueen shirt for Love.

Here are a few things that caught my eye this week:

Figuring Out 40 - Great Project Life inspiration

A Little Bit of Me - Found thru Figuring Out 40, another great Project Life site

Palm Trees - Cute breakfast or snack idea

Sew together
Super simple

I'm thinking I might do this for each holiday
